I’m David Aranda (Davaro), an artist from Barcelona. As a child, I had two defining traits: a love for painting and a tendency to lose myself for hours in the mountains. During my teenage years, I met the painter Tokyo Ujike, who inspired me to pursue art more seriously.
As an artist, I’ve exhibited my work in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, and Dubai, both at art fairs and in private and public exhibitions.
"In Davaro’s work, we see a dialogue between spontaneity, gesture and technical mastery. This duality, the tension between the planned and the accidental, highlights the artist’s maturity and his ability to avoid getting lost in the pure immediacy of the gesture."

"I love his art because it's messy and very expressive. It feels like his vision comes to life in an instant, yet it lasts forever."

"Its powerful minimalism stands out. An expression that says so much with so little. Truly impressive."
